The Widow Warrior Empowerment Conference grew out of the personal journey of Mrs. JJ Bailey. It serves as an outreach of JJ Bailey Ministries, Inc., created to encourage, support, and empower women navigating life after the loss of a spouse.
JJ Bailey shared 43 years of marriage with her husband, Pastor Dr. Bertrand M. Bailey, Sr., and served alongside him for 38 years as a pastor’s wife at St. Andrew Baptist Church in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Together they lovingly raised 11 children, including their daughter Bertrina, who preceded them in death in 1986.
After becoming a widow on February 14, 2018, JJ Bailey entered an unfamiliar season of grief and transition.
During that journey, other pastors’ wives who had experienced widowhood came alongside her with encouragement, wisdom, and support. Their compassion left a lasting impact.
Today, Mrs. JJ Bailey feels called to extend that same support to other widows. Through the Widow Warrior Empowerment Conference, JJ Bailey Ministries seeks to create a faith-filled community where widows do not have to navigate the journey alone.
We provide encouragement, connection, practical support, and hope as women heal, rebuild, and embrace the purpose that remains ahead.

Widow Warrior Empowerment Conference exists to create a faith-filled community where widows are seen, supported, strengthened, and empowered to heal, embrace hope, and move forward in their God-given purpose.
To see widows move beyond simply surviving loss and live with renewed faith, meaningful community, strength, and purpose.
